Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and subscription management work for Akaya AI (“Akaya”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By purchasing any Akaya subscription, lifetime license, or digital service, you agree to this policy.

1. Digital Products

Akaya provides digital products and services, including:

  • AI Chat
  • AI Voice Assistant
  • Offline AI Features
  • Cloud AI Features
  • AI Agents
  • Mobile Applications
  • Lifetime Offline License
  • Subscription Plans

Because these are digital services, refunds may be limited once access has been granted.

2. Free Plan

Akaya offers a Free Plan.

You can use the free version without providing payment information.

No refund applies to the free plan.

3. Subscription Plans

Akaya may offer:

  • Monthly Plan
  • Half-Yearly Plan
  • Yearly Plan
  • Enterprise Plan

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the next billing cycle.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time.

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
  • No additional charges will be made after cancellation.
  • You will continue to have access until your subscription expires.

5. Refund Eligibility

Refund requests may be considered in the following situations:

  • Duplicate payment
  • Accidental purchase
  • Technical issue preventing access to paid features (verified by our support team)
  • Incorrect billing caused by our system

Refund requests should normally be submitted within 7 days of the purchase date.

Approval is subject to review.

6. Non-Refundable Purchases

The following are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law:

  • Lifetime Offline License after activation
  • Partially used subscriptions
  • Promotional or discounted purchases
  • Gift purchases
  • Digital downloads
  • AI token usage (if applicable)

7. Lifetime Offline License

The Lifetime Offline License is a one-time purchase that provides access to eligible offline features associated with that license.

Once activated, it is generally non-refundable except where required by law or in cases of verified billing errors.

Future cloud-based services and premium online features may require separate subscriptions.

8. App Store Purchases

If you purchased Akaya through:

  • Google Play Store
  • Apple App Store

Refunds and cancellations may also be subject to the respective store's billing and refund policies.

Please refer to the platform from which you made the purchase.

9. Failed Payments

If a recurring payment cannot be processed:

  • Your subscription may be suspended.
  • Access to premium cloud features may be limited until payment is completed.
  • Offline features available under your purchased license will continue according to the applicable plan.

10. Enterprise Plans

Enterprise agreements are governed by the individual contract signed between Akaya and the customer.

Refunds and cancellations for Enterprise services follow the terms of that agreement.

11. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact our support team with:

  • Full Name
  • Registered Email Address
  • Order ID or Transaction ID
  • Purchase Date
  • Reason for the request

Providing complete information helps us review your request more efficiently.

12. Processing Time

If a refund is approved:

  • Processing typically takes 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider or bank.
  • The actual credit timeline may vary based on your payment method.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated Last Updated date.
